In February 2002 blockade of economic support of 200 million Dollars.

Since January 2004 tumults all over the country. The "chimeres" of Aristide are fighting against rebels of the opposition, who have already many towns and places under control. The opposition wants Aristide to step down because of corruption, nepotism and drup trafficking. They don't accept his re-election in 2000. There is violence and chaos all over Haiti.

In March 2004 Aristide went into exil . The president designate is Latortue, former Foreign Minister.
