Haiti, generally regarded as the poorest country in the western world, has got a lot of treasures in culturel, religious and botanical sectores. We make it our business to open people´s eyes to see these riches and to look for support for their preservation and display.

Lasting for centuries Haiti was the melting pot of african and indian traditions. Schamanistic and magic knowledge was kept there and can serve as a bridge to the world of spirits and ancestors. Thus it presents an approach to ancient experiences of mankind, which we need to understand our own epoch and to help ourselves to equilibrium.

We think it important to take part in keeping culturel variety alive.

With every downfalling culture one facet of the “soul of mankind” dies. We should realize, that the mankind forms a whole. The dialog between different cultures will give us the answers, our age needs. This can happen, if we will meet eachother with respect and esteem

And welcome members of other religions or world views as accepted partners, who will broaden eachother´s mind.

We want to help the Haitians with “help to self-help” to live a life beyond the subsistence level as a foundation for their living culture.

We are happy about everybody, who wants to support us for all our efforts.

a) representation of the features, values and variety of the Haitian culture, religion and language through public relations work in Germany for the purpose of :

a.a) the promotion of the understanding and tolerance towards differences in the face of growing globalisation

a.b) the processing of the historical role during the colonisation of Africa and America by the Europeans

a.c) the expansion of individual experience by coming across perceptions of "being" which Europeans are only slightly or not at all familiar with

a.d) the sensitization for world openness and meeting other religions.

c) Collection and exhibition of cultural and art objects of Haitian tradition and research into their African, Indian and European influences.

 The association wishes to help retain the cultural and religious independence of the Haitian population by providing development aid for :

a) installation of systems to improve conditions of life such as e.g. solar ovens, bio-gas systems, drinking water preparation systems etc.

b) measures to maintain or regenerate the environment, e.g. reforestation and systems to improve water management,

c) promotion of projects to plant medicinal and useful plants and to keep small and useful animals,

d) promotion of craftsmanship and arts to improve earnings,

e) help in the education of children and adolescents by the provision of food, clothes, teaching means, school fees etc.

f) promotion of the construction of temples and places of cultural interest to maintain cultural and religious independance.

The association can co-operate with organizations and individual persons at home or abroad to achieve the purpose of the association.
